On your wrist, on its own
The Apple Watch app stands on its own: install it alone and it hatches, reads your health data and runs without an iPhone. With both, they sync in real time. A watch face complication shows your pet's current state at a glance, and the iPhone app adds widgets. Both are free.
Hatchi measures nothing itself. Everything comes from the Health app, so it also works with a phone alone, or with a third-party watch or ring that writes into Health. Some measurements, time in daylight in particular, need an Apple Watch worn on the wrist. More in the support pages.
Nothing leaves your device
Hatchi reads your health data on-device only. There is no account to create, no server, no analytics, no tracking and no ads. The app contains no network code at all.
The privacy policy says exactly what is read, and why.
Hatchi+, if you want to look back
Today is always free: every trait, every trophy, the whole day in progress. Hatchi+ lets you look back at everything Hatchi saw on a day, once that day is done. It adds Hatchi's Week, your week told as your pet lived it, and opens the whole collection of hats, backgrounds and effects.
Hatchi+ is an optional subscription. The price is shown on the App Store and in the app before any purchase.
